Graydon Park covers 7 acres on the edge of downtown Ridgewood. The park's gem is
Graydon Pool, established in 1929. It's an all-natural swimming experience in the middle of the suburbs, featuring a sandy beach, fieldstone walls, and a sand bottom swimming hole.
Considered a landmark by many, attempts to replace the sandy pool with a concrete one have been thwarted by preservationists.
